Easy to use August 31, 2008 S. Holland (Los Angeles, CA USA) This product is easy to use and accepts even the newer formats of SDHC cards that my old built in readers can not.
Good product August 30, 2008 M. Ng (San Francisco, USA) It is small and easy to use. I used the cable to connect with my computer and there is no cable's necessary. Nice. I don't have to install any program and use it everywhere.
Sandisk MicroMate August 12, 2008 Kevin Brennan (Detroit, MI USA) The product I received was working great and in wonderful condition. The shipping was a little slow though. It could have been much faster.
Sandisk MicroMate Reader - for SD & SDHC Memory Cards August 7, 2008 B. Cumpton (Omaha, NE) This card reader works really well for me, just gotta plug it into the ol Mac and loads straight into iPhoto. Everything arrived on time, works well. But whenever I shake the card reader I can hear something rattling, or hitting something. I'm not sure what it is, but hasn't affect the card reader yet. I think I may have paid a little more for this item, but it's an easy way to transfer pics. Sorry I'm out of words can't think of anything else.... Just a good product that works well too.
Fast, easy to use reader July 29, 2008 Mazen Haddad (Atlanta, Georgia) Although the wide design leaves something to be desired because it covers other ports while in use, it is not much of a problem for me because I mainly use it to transfer photos and it is not always plugged in.
Some reviewers have complained about speed so I decided to put it to a real life test and it performed flawlessly. It was able to read 2GB worth of files (about 600) in 2 minutes and 45 seconds. It was able to write that same content in about 5.5 minutes. I used an ordinary 2GB Kingston card for that test.
Installation was quick on my Widows XP PC. Windows recognized it instantly and it was up and running in about 5 seconds.
The cover can be used on the opposite side to protect an inserted card or just to keep it from getting lost. I highly recommend it and would buy it again.
