I love this camera. Although I'm not a professional photographer, I need to be able to take quality jpegs for internet use. This camera does a terrific job.
great experience September 30, 2008 lilamps 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a novice at photography but i think this camera takes good pictures in spite of your inexperience. It has quite a lot of functions and that gives the user a lot of work to do in trying to get accustomed to it but i am so glad i bought it.Its worth so much more than it cost!
Nice balance of features and price September 29, 2008 A. Boudreaux (NE) I've been into photography most of my adult life. I have owned several cameras, even of the film variety back in the day. I currently own three pro level DSLRs and own a couple of midsized "prosumer" models. I was looking for a small, compact camera with good quality and full motion video capabilities.
After some research, I chose the Canon Poershot SD770 IS primarily for its image quality and portability. The optical image stabilization is very useful in a camera this small since the pressing of the shutter can cause blurry images due to camera shake. The image is a bit soft on the edges when viewed at 100 percent on your computer screen, but this is expected and much better quality than most in this category.
Barely larger than a deck of cards, there is no excuse for not having a camera on you when a photographic opportunity presents itself.
Great image September 7, 2008 PM Ashley 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a fine pocket camera. It is small enough to take anywhere but the lens and 10 megapixel combination make it possible to get superb results. Value for cash.
