| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Simply set the 10.1-megapixel DMC-FS20 to iA mode and let the four Intelligent Auto functions team up to help prevent shooting errors. Intelligent Scene Selector chooses the mode that best fits the situation; MEGA Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) helps prevent blurring from hand-shake; Intelligent ISO Control helps prevent motion blur; and Face Detection helps produce clear portraits by optimizing the focus and exposure settings. The 30mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens with 4x optical zoom takes wider shots than an ordinary 35mm lens. This is helpful in small rooms or crowded places, for example, letting you fit more people into a group photo. There's also an Easy Zoom button on the camera top - just press it, and the optical zoom and Extra Optical Zoom instantly extend to full telescopic position. This quick zooming lets you catch even fleeting opportunities. The brightness and contrast of the large 3.0" diagonal LCD adjust automatically in 10 steps as ambient light conditions change, so images are clear, bright and easy to see day or night, indoors or outdoors. f=5.2-20.8mm (35mm Equiv. - 30-120mm) Focal Length 3.0 Diagonal Polycrystalline TFT LCD Display (230K dots) Focusing Area Normal - Wide 50cm/ Tele 100cm - infinity, Macro / Intelligent AUTO - Wide 10cm / Tele 100cm - infinity 8 - 1/2,000 sec. Great camera and excellent value November 19, 2008 mxt206 (Appleton, WI) Great camera. I have not had time to explore all of its features, but it takes great pictures in auto mode.
Love the wide angle lens October 30, 2008 G. S. Shields Great camera for a realtor. I need to take photos of rooms in homes and the wide angle lens is great. Everything else about the camera is just like every other digital camera.

My second Lumix camera. It is a great compact camera and lives up to the Panasonic standard. I just love this camera. After reading a lot of reviews I can not understand some of the petty criticisms.
great little camera August 9, 2008 Alison Bradbury (New York City, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm still getting to grips with the menus but it takes great photos. It's definitely bigger than the smallest Canons, so if you want a really compact camera, they might be better. Good looking camera.
I did not like it June 17, 2008 M. baronian 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
I had lots of cameras and i did not like this one. its slow the pics come out fussy almost of the time its not so small the battery does not last . I own the panasonic fx9 and its much better then this one and the pics are much nicer.
